Updated Rules for Submission

Before Submitting your work for our contests, please be aware of the change in submission rules.

By submitting your work, you agree to the following conditions:

1. Your work will be retained as yours, but Write Club Editors have the right to ask you for revisions if you are offered online publication. Write Club Editors will work with you to edit your piece in a desirable fashion; if you are unwilling to work with the Write Club Editors, then your publication offer will be rescinded.

2. When offered publication, Write Club Editors have the right to ask you to make proper format changes to your writing. Write Club Editors will work with you to edit your piece in a desirable fashion; if you are unwilling to work with the Write Club Editors, then your publication offer will be rescinded.

3. Your writing must be double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman when placed inside a Word document. If your work does not fit the requirements it may be disregarded by the judges.

4. Your writing must fit the page length requirements when placed inside a double-spaced Word document. If your work does not fit the requirements it may be disregarded by the judges.

5. Your writing must follow all requirement specific to the competition you are submitting to as described in the announcement for that competition. If your work does not fit the requirements it may be disregarded by the judges.

6. If Write Club finds your piece to be discriminatory in any way, then it will not be considered for publication.

7. Multiple submissions are allowed, but your work may only win once. This means that if the judges like one piece more than the other, one will be considered and the other will be discarded.
